Recital – “En quête d’évasion”

It is to an intense musical quest, that the public will engage alongside the pianist Mirabelle Kajenjeri. Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonata in A flat Major opens with a peaceful tableau which will be shaken over the course of the bars.
“Une barque sur l’océan” (A boat on the ocean) and “La vallée des cloches” (The valley of the bells) by Maurice Ravel carry the spirit in an imaginary allegory. The journey ends in apotheosis with Frédéric Chopin’s Sonata in B minor. The composer seems to abandon his thorny burdens, expressing his most intimate feelings and hopes into a musical discourse sometimes limpid, sometimes ardent.
